Sierra Sol • Natural, Compostable Coffee, Single Origin: Colombia
Sierra Sol
Grown in the remote, cloud-draped peaks of Colombia’s Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Sierra Sol is named so for feeling like sunshine in a cup— clean, warm, and deeply rooted in ancestral lands. This coffee comes from Indigenous and smallholder farms that overlook the Caribbean Sea, where the high elevation and biodiverse climate create a cup as nuanced as the region itself.
Harvested on sacred soil, this coffee is grown with deep respect for the land and its rhythms. The Sierra Nevada is not only one of the most unique coffee-growing regions in the world; it’s also home to generations of farmers who see coffee not just as a crop, but as a gift. Expect a cup that’s soulful, complex, and effortlessly smooth. Don't forget to compost the grinds!

What makes repotted so special?
Our Coffee
This is clean coffee — roasted in small batches, shipped fresh, and never blended with fillers or additives. Just quality beans, roasted to perfection to bring out their natural flavor.
While many mass-produced coffees are full of filler, additives, preservatives, chemicals, plastics and even mold, our coffee is simply fresh roasted.
Our Packaging
Our minimal packaging is designed to be poured into your favorite glass canister and then composted, breaking down to become next year’s soil. Every part is certified compostable so it's safe to add to your home compost — no plastic sitting a landfill (probably forever).
Made without plastic, our bags are free from BPA, PLA, and dozens of harmful chemicals, and are stamped with the most sustainable and natural ink on the market. A carbon-negative product, algae pigments give the ink its color while its production actually removes carbon emissions from the environment.
The time that it takes for the bags to turn to compost varies, based on the many factors. In a typical garden compost, it is expected to break down within 1-2 years, faster in industrial or community composts.
Our Freshness
Our coffee can remain sealed for up to six months, but the closer to the roast, the better the flavor. We recommend sipping within two weeks for optimal freshness. Each pouch is sealed for freshness with a one-way degassing valve for shelf stability and a resealable zipper to lock in flavor once opened. Store it in a glass jar or in the fridge once opened for maximum freshness.
Why does it cost more than grocery store coffee?
repotted coffee is crafted with the kind of intention that mass-market brands simply don’t have the space for.
Here’s what you’re really paying for:
Better Beans, Better Flavor
We source premium, ethically grown beans—not commodity-grade fillers. They're roasted in small batches so you taste the nuanced notes (like citrus, honey, or hazelnut) instead of bitterness.
Freshness You Can Feel
Most store-bought coffee has been sitting in warehouses or on shelves for months. Ours is roasted weekly and shipped straight to your door—so you can feel confident in the roast you receive.
Compostable Packaging
You’re not just drinking something good—you’re doing something good, for yourself and our planet. Our bags are 100% plastic-free and compostable, down to the zipper. Mass-market brands can’t say the same.
Made with Hands, Not Machines
Every step—from filling and stamping to sealing—is done with intention by real people. No shortcuts, no conveyor belts, no compromises.
How Much Do I Need?
One 32oz bag brews about 60–65 cups of coffee. That’s roughly:
- 2-3 weeks of coffee for two daily drinkers
- 1 month for solo sippers
- Budget 16–20oz per person, per month for a typical daily drinker
Prefer variety? Try a second bag for afternoon pick-me-ups or weekend pours.
Want smaller batches? Subscribe to a refill every two weeks— just enough to stay stocked without sacrificing freshness.
